Over the last two years we have built the Clarion portfolio management system covering FX, interest rate, equity, credit and commodity cash and derivative products. Clarion delivers live risk and P&L, pre-trade pricing and scenario analysis. Clarion also provides an order management system with pre-trade compliance checks and order staging to execution platforms.

The Team

The product team is responsible for both the development of the Clarion product and support of a growing user base. The team is currently 7 strong and works at the nexus of around 40 React and C# developers, organized into feature teams, 15 quantitative analysts with deep domain knowledge, and across the wider business with Operations, Trading Technology, and Marketing.

The Role

We are looking for Product Managers to help us build Clarion into an industry leading, massively scalable and reliable platform. Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering user requirements and translating to product feature design and specification
  • Maintaining product roadmaps
  • Assisting with product prioritisaton
  • Working closely with developers to ensure smooth delivery
  • Benchmarking to competitor offerings

The successful applicant will have:

  • 3+ years’ experience working with financial software
  • Product experience in either i. order/execution management, ii. APIs as a product, or iii. systematic trading
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication including an interest in presenting the product to prospects and clients
  • Ability to work as part of a team – bouncing ideas off colleagues, building consensus around a design
  • Hands on approach – quickly get to know how Clarion should look, feel and behave
  • Capacity to work across numerous teams in the business

We would love to see: knowledge of developer workflows, and an understanding of financial products and analytics.
